EFLM survey on measurement of kidney function biomarkers
Building on the successful EFLM surveys conducted in 2019 and 2022, this updated survey aims to reassess current practices in the measurement of creatinine, cystatin C, and glomerular filtration rate. The results will help evaluate progress since the publication of the EFLM recommendations on kidney function biomarkers and identify areas for further harmonization.

This survey aims to evaluate the knowledge and opinions of medical and laboratory professionals regarding the storage and secondary use of residual biological samples obtained after routine diagnostic procedures. The results will support the development of recommendations and guidelines addressing the ethical and legal aspects of this practice, contributing to greater harmonization across laboratory medicine.

EFLM survey on practices on adjusted calcium
Following recent recommendations questioning the clinical value of albumin-adjusted ( "corrected ") calcium, this survey seeks to evaluate current international practices regarding adjusted calcium measurements among laboratory medicine specialists and clinicians. The findings will contribute to future harmonization initiatives in this area.
