We are staffed by a small dedicated team who support members and officers to deliver our vision and strategy.

Victoria Logan, Chief Executive

Victoria has overall responsibility for the team  and specific responsibility for governance and strategy, finance and administration, stakeholder management, public affairs and industry partnership.

Mike Lester, Membership Manager

Mike has been with us since April 2008, and is now responsible for membership retention and recruitment, delivery of member services, membership of other bodies, accreditation services (such as the ACS, CSci and EuSpLM), annual general meetings, trade union service and membership governance.

Christine Hall-Shelton, Membership Administrator

Christine joined us in August 2015, and now supports the Membership Manager with membership maintenance, services and enquiries, welcoming new members including our corporate members, as well as having a role in supporting our committees, our accreditation services and membership awards processes.

Cheryl Taylor, Operations Manager

Cheryl joined us in February 2008 and became our Operations Manager in 2020. She has responsibility for financial management and recording, invoices and payments, credit control, management accounts, tax affairs, human resources, property management, supplier management, cost control as well as reporting & returns to external bodies and management of annual accounts and audit.

Eleanor Dalzell, Committees Officer

Eleanor joined us in December 2019 and ensures the smooth running of our national committees, supporting their meetings, governance and outputs and maintenance of our digital records. Eleanor also supports the Operations Manager with the finance and operations of the Association.

Tamsin Lawson, Events Manager

Tamsin joined us in February 2023 and is overseeing our overall events strategy. Since starting with us, Tamsin has been building on the success of our National Meeting. Tamsin will also be working with the regional representatives on local events and helping with any other ad hoc events too.

Tracy Davis, Marketing Administrator

Tracy joined us in September 2023 and provides marketing support for member services, national and regional committee meetings, training events & workshops, regional events and other products and services.

Avi Surskas, Digital Learning Officer

Avi joined us in October 2023 and oversees development of digital education content for the Laboratory Medicine Learning Academy. He assists authors with the production of content and offers administrative support to the academy users.

Sahana Krishnan.png

 

Sahana Krishnan, Publishing Manager

Sahana joined us in February 2024 and works on the development and strategy of LabMed’s publications, supporting the editorial boards of the Annals of Clinical Biochemistry, LabMed News and Lab Tests Online, with a focus on promoting and unifying the output of these channels.
