Scotland's Chief Scientific Officer Awards 2025

We'd like to draw attention to the ‘Scotland’s Chief Scientific Officer Awards 2025’ and encourage anyone eligible to enter.

This year’s categories have been refreshed – being brought into closer alignment with the key themes which are identified in the ‘Healthcare Science in Scotland: Defining Our Strategic Approach’ paper which was published last year. The categories this year are:

Rising Star
Healthcare Science Support Worker of the Year
Transforming Service Delivery
Quality in Action
Education in Practice
Excellence in Clinical Leadership

Finalists will be announced ahead of an awards ceremony which will take place during healthcare science week (w/c 17 March 2025).
