Members can draw on specialist legal and professional advice for more complex cases, including those involving employment law or formal proceedings such as disciplinary hearnings or disputes. Trade Union ensures that members are treated fairly and thier rights are protected, wheather they need support in hearing, handling negotiations or answering your legal questions.
Sense of community
As Trade Union member, you do not face challenges on your own, you are a part of a national network of Trade Union representatives across NHS laboratories, NHS Blood and Transplant, UKHSA sites and private laboratories which strengthens your voice in discussions with employes. This network also provides opportunities to share experiences, discuss challenges and learn from colleagues working in different laboratory disciplines and regions.
