TNY committee vacancies

A number of roles are currently available on the TNY Committee. Closing date for application is 1 August 2025.

Chair

• Chair a minimum of 3 committee meetings (generally held online), including the Annual General Meeting (may be online or in person)
• Attend 3 LabMed Council meetings each year (generally held online) and represent the TNY Region
• Ad hoc tasks including appraisal of funding applications, regional communications, task and finish group meetings
• Regional Chair - Role description

Trainee Committee Reps

• Attend and report at a minimum of 3 committee meetings (generally held online), including the Annual General Meeting (may be online or in person)
• Attend 2 LabMed Trainees’ Committee meetings each year and represent the TNY Region Trainees
• Ad hoc tasks including canvassing the views of trainees in the region, supporting the Regional Tutors, supporting regional training

Microbiology Rep

• Attend and report at a minimum of 3 committee meetings (generally held online), including the Annual General Meeting (may be online or in person)
• Ad hoc tasks including canvassing the views of Clinical Microbiologists and trainees in the region, supporting regional microbiology training

Green Champion Liaison

• Attend a minimum of 3 committee meetings (generally held online), including the Annual General Meeting (may be online or in person)
• Ad hoc tasks may include canvassing views on sustainability in the region, participating in wider sustainability groups, supporting sustainability projects

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Liaison

• Attend a minimum of 3 committee meetings (generally held online), including the Annual General Meeting (may be online or in person)
• Ad hoc tasks may include canvassing views on EDI in the region, supporting accessibility of regional projects/events, supporting EDI when seeking new committee members
