TNY committee vacancies
A number of roles are currently available on the TNY Committee. Closing date for application is 5 June 2026.
All nominees must be full Association for Laboratory Medicine members. In the event of there being more than one nominee for a position, a ballot will be held.

Secretary
The role of the regional Secretary is to organise committee meetings, manage the business of the regional committee, keep up to date with the work of the Association and to respond to local issues affecting members.
Trent Trainee Committee Reps
Responsibilities include attending quarterly LabMed Trainees’ Committee meetings, representing the TNY Region Trainees, supporting the Regional Tutors and supporting regional training.
Trent Representative to the Trade Union
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining awareness of trade union issues, being a point of contact for industrial relations and attending FCS Committee meetings.
Medical Rep
This nomination should be for a medically qualified full ACB Member in the region. Responsibilities include representing members in medical roles, being the point of contact for medics in the TNY Regions and disseminating information
Green Champion Liaison
Responsible for ad hoc tasks which may include canvassing views on sustainability in the region, participating in wider sustainability groups, supporting sustainability projects.
This position can be held by a current Committee Member.
Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Liaison
Responsible for ad hoc tasks which may include canvassing views on EDI in the region, supporting accessibility of regional projects/events, supporting EDI when seeking new committee members.
