Director of Publications and Communications

One of the most exciting and enjoyable roles, we’re looking for our new director of publications and communications. You’ll have an unrivalled opportunity to learn sought-after skills and influence the voice of your association and profession, all while making new friends along the way.

Tasks you can dive into include collaborating with other societies on common areas of interest, developing new publishing products and having an oversight of existing publications and communications, such as the Annals of Clinical Biochemistry, LabMed News and LabTestsOnline UK.

You’ll also share our passion for diversity and inclusion, ensuring that our outputs represent and cater to the needs of all our members.

You could be who we need if you:

  • Have experience working with editorial boards or publishing projects
  • Are a member of LabMed and share our values
  • Have post HCPC or GMC registration experience
  • Have obtained full FRCPath
  • Have an openness to new ideas that will grow the voice of LabMed and a willingness to challenge established views and practices.
