Committee on Clinical Applications of Cardiac Bio-Markers

The Education and Management Division (EMD) of the IFCC are inviting nominations for one member position on the Committee on Clinical Applications of Cardiac Bio-Markers (C-CB) for the term of office January 2026 – December 2028.

The candidates should have extensive experience in the area of work of the Committee.

Much of the work of all EMD committees is conducted by email, but the C-CB also meets monthly via a digital platform, in addition to one or two in-person meetings per year.

All National Society Members are requested to encourage appropriate members to apply for this position. Applicants who are not selected as members may be eligible for corresponding membership.

Nominations should be directly sent to the IFCC Office ([email protected]) by 20 October 2025. Any LabMed recommendation or support must be requested at least 2 weeks in advance of deadline.

The information must include:

• Letter of support from the National Society/Company;
• Short Letter of motivation from the candidate describing why they would like to work with the C-CB
• Curriculum Vitae of the nominee describing the professional and/or academic career (including a list of publications), particularly highlighting the issues which could be important for the selection
