Biochemistry Training Day
Dr Stuart McPherson is a Consultant Hepatologist and Clinical Lead of the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Liver Unit. Stuart’s major clinical interests include fatty liver disease, viral hepatitis and cirrhosis. He is research active, particularly evaluating the efficacy of liver fibrosis biomarkers. He is the former Senior Secretary of the British Society of Gastroenterology (2017-21).
